Illegal military transportation from Armenia to Karabakh continues
Baku/21.03.23/Turan: Illegal Armenian military formations in Karabakh continue military transportation from Armenia using alternative roads, bypassing the Shusha-Lachin highway. This is stated in the message of the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan for March 21.
Using the night time and foggy weather, the Armenian formations are transporting manpower, ammunition, mines, as well as fuel, water, food and other logistical support along the Khankyandi-Khalfali-Turshsu dirt road to combat positions.
It has been established that the Armenian side also uses civilian vehicles for military transportation. Thus, civilian vehicles moving from Armenia deliver contracted manpower and military cargo to a certain point near the village of Turshsu, Shusha region.
Also, the subsequent transfer of military and cargo to Khankyandi on military off-road vehicles was recorded.
Russian peacekeepers accompany the movement of the Armenian military in Karabakh. This was recorded by the technical means of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the direction of the Khankyandi-Khalfali-Turshsu dirt road.
In particular, an armored personnel carrier of Russian peacekeepers escorted an Armenian convoy of three Ural vehicles and a KamAZ vehicle.
The Ministry of Defense considers it unacceptable to carry out military transportation accompanied by a Russian peacekeeping contingent, which is a gross violation of the provisions of the tripartite statement. Such illegal actions that occur regularly.
"We declare that all responsibility for the tension that may arise after this in the region lies with the military-political leadership of Armenia," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry statement reads.-0-
