Improvement of Baku settlements will continue in Pirshagi
Baku/16.04.21/Turan: On Friday, the head of state visited the Absheron village of Pirshagi (20 km north of Baku), where improvement work was started.
According to the plan, country roads will be equipped, communications will be re-laid, historical and architectural objects will be restored, including an old bathhouse and a mosque. A park will be created in the center of the village.
The work will be a continuation of the work on the reconstruction and improvement of the Absheron villages and suburbs of Baku, started from the Balakhani settlement.
This year, similar work will begin in three more villages - Mardakan, Buzovna and Mashtaga. -02D-

On November 18, a single-person protest took place in the "Green Zone" at COP29. The protest was held by Ismail Djafarsoy, a technical staff member at the event. Djafarsoy claimed that the rights of over 500 workers were being violated, as they had not been paid their wages. According to him, workers hired for the month of November were promised a daily payment of 20 manats.
