120 thousand Azerbaijani citizens may be deported from Russia
Moscow/16.04.21/Turan: The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia demands from the CIS states that their citizens who are illegally in Russia leave the country by June 15, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Gorovoy stated this at a meeting of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth.
According to the statistics of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which he presented, today in Russia there are more than 332 thousand illegal migrants from Uzbekistan, 247 thousand - from Tajikistan, 152 thousand - from Ukraine, 120 thousand - from Azerbaijan, 115 thousand - from Kyrgyzstan, 61 thousand - from Armenia. 56 thousand - from Moldova, 49 thousand - from Kazakhstan.
"If we do not remove this number by June 15, these people will be punished up to expulsion and closure of borders. I would like you to carry out campaigning work in your states through the media," Gorovoy said.
In mid-December, Vladimir Putin, by his decree, extended the temporary residence of migrants in Russia in connection with the coronavirus until June 15, 2021. -02D-
