In Armenia begins checking materials about Russia’s agents
Baku / 22.09.20 / Turan: Head of the National Security Service of Armenia Argishti Kyaramyan announced the beginning of verification of information about Russia’s agents in Armenia, writes the "Aravot" edition.
The reason was an article by the Dossier analytical center - a project of the Russian opposition oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky.
According to the article, a whole network of “friends of Russia” operates in Armenia, which “have settled in almost all state structures - the government, parliament, special services, the Foreign Ministry”. Many politicians are cited as serving Russian interests, including former head of the NSS Artur Vanetsyan and billionaire Gagik Tsarukyan.
“This article itself is a crime report. The National Security Service, as a law enforcement body, will naturally give a legal assessment to any facts reflected in this article,” Kyaramyan told reporters.
It should be noted that the same article also spoke to a group of Azerbaijani citizens who might be of interest to the Russian special services. -02D-
