State Security Service warns of Armenian provocations
Baku / 22.09.20 / Turan: The Armenian secret services, through fictitious profiles in social networks, are trying to spread misinformation and cause panic among the population of the front-line areas. The enemy is also trying to collect information about the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and the movements of military units. This is stated in the message of the State Security Service (SSS) of Azerbaijan dated September 22.
The State Security Service calls on the citizens of Azerbaijan to be vigilant, not to disseminate information constituting a military secret and capable of damaging the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and the local population.
“It is recommended not to respond to appeals from anonymous profiles and not to respond to information on social networks about the situation at the front, but to refer only to official information from government agencies,” the address says.
The State Security Service asks citizens to report complaints from fictitious profiles of an intelligence nature through the official website of the State Security Service (www.dtx.gov.az), by calling 405 99 99 and 1656,
