In the first half of 2023, the prosecutor`s office provided compensation for damage in the amount of 60 million manats
Baku/25.07.23/Turan: In the first half of 2023, in criminal cases with a completed preliminary investigation, material damage was found to be 151 million 424 thousand manats. As a result of investigative measures, 40.2% of this amount was reimbursed – 60 million 860 thousand manats, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev stated at today's meeting of the board of the department dedicated to the results of the first half of the year.
During the reporting period, 85 criminal cases were filed by the Main Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General. As a result of 19 operational measures, 28 people were detained red-handed at the crime scene. 18 wanted persons were also detained.
The hotline "161" of the specified department received 2,700 requests. A criminal case was filed on 43 of them. ---06B---
