Iran is ready to provide military assistance to Azerbaijan - Khatami
Baku/21.02.18/Turan: Defense Ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran - Zakir Hasanov and Amir Khatami discussed today the military-political situation in the region. Hasanov said that , the unresolved Nagorno-Karabakh conflict creates a serious threat to regional stability.
Hatemi for his part stated that there is a great potential for development of cooperation. He stressed that his country recognizes the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and supports its fair position in resolving the conflict.
According to him, Iran, as a Muslim country, is interested in increasing the military power of Azerbaijan and is ready to render any assistance in this field.
During the meeting, a broad exchange of views took place on the prospects for the development of cooperation in the military, military-technical, military-medical and military-educational spheres, organization of mutual visits of expert groups, as well as other issues of mutual interest, the press service of the Ministry of Defense informs. -0-

The United States has been working with Azerbaijan for a long time on energy issues and fossil fuel emissions, particularly focusing on technologies that reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and help transition to clean energy, the U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer M.
