Iran welcomes Azerbaijani victory anniversary - Hatibzadeh
Baku/08.11.21/Turan: Iran has always been against the occupation of Azerbaijani territories, Iranian Foreign Ministry official Said Khatibzadeh said today.
"Over the past 30 years, Iran has always been against the occupation of the territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan. We have supported the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, so we congratulate this country on the liberation of lands under occupation and today we welcome the anniversary of the victory," the diplomat said.
At the same time, he emphasized the importance of overcoming "some misunderstandings" in bilateral relations.
"In this situation, it is important to overcome some misunderstandings, and the will of the two countries is to solve problems and strengthen relations. We hope to see further development of these relations and elimination of misunderstandings in the media," Khatibzadeh said.-0-
