Iranian Ambassador instructed to improve relations with Azerbaijan
Baku/04.01.22/Turan: Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Seyyid Abbas Musavi has been summoned to Tehran to report to Foreign Minister Hussein Abdollahian on the current state of bilateral relations between Tehran and Baku as well as on the future agenda, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The Iranian Foreign Minister said that Tehran has good relations with all its neighbours. "He provided Mousavi with necessary guidelines for the development and strengthening of relations between the two countries in political, economic and cultural spheres and for holding a successful meeting of the bilateral economic commission in the near future," the statement said.
Recall that earlier Musevi had a meeting with the Azerbaijani Presidential Aide Hikmet Hajiyev, followed by a phone conversation between the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran.
The warming of relations takes place after weeks of mutual accusations, at the level of state media of the two countries. -02D-
