Iranian embassy protests against disrespectful action against diplomatic mission
Baku/01.10.21/Turan: The Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan protested in connection with the rally of unknown persons against the embassy in Baku on the night of October 1.
On Friday, the Ambassador Seyyed Abbas Mousavi told IRNA: "After the attack and disrespectful attitude of unknown persons towards the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baku last night, as well as strong protests, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry identified and detained four individuals." The ambassador stressed that the embassy expects the perpetrators to be punished.
Note that the "attack" on the embassy was expressed in the fact that at night three aftafas (jugs for use in the toilet) in the colors of the national flag of Iran appeared at its walls.
Turan was not able to get a comment from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan regarding this incident. -02B-
