Telman Ismailov was detained in Montenegro
Baku/01.10.21/Turan: On October 1, in the afternoon in Montenegro, a Russian businessman of Azerbaijani origin Telman Ismayilov was detained.
The former owner of the Cherkizovsky market in Moscow was detained on a warrant issued by Russia, reported by the Montenegrin edition Vijesti.
In Russia, Ismailov is suspected of organizing the murder of two people.
In 2020, the court sentenced Telman Ismailov's brother Rafik to 17 years in prison for murder.
Ismayilov lost numerous real estate in Moscow, which was confiscated due to his debts. Hiding from creditors, Ismayilov fled Russia. His largest asset was the Mardan Palace hotel in Turkey, worth about half a billion dollars.-0-
