Telephone conversation between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran
Baku / 10.23.21 / Turan: Today a telephone conversation took place between the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran, Jeyhun Bayramov and Hussein Amir-Abdullahian.
According to the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, the ministers exchanged views on the current state of bilateral relations.
Assessing the development of events over the past week, the heads of the foreign ministries noted as mutual positive steps - warning the relevant Iranian departments to respect the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan (we are talking about warning Iranian cargo carriers not to travel to territories in Karabakh temporarily controlled by Russian peacekeepers - note Turan), as well as the release of two Iranian drivers by Azerbaijan.
During the telephone conversation, the importance of continuing the activities of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission renewed after the change of administration in Iran was emphasized.
The parties stressed the importance of resolving all disagreements through dialogue. — 06B-
