Iranian religious leaders support Azerbaijan
Baku/02.03.21/Turan: Representatives of Islamic madrasahs - religious leaders and students, announced the support and protection of the people of the Republic of Azerbaijan, reads the statement of the international conference on Karabakh in Qom.
"Karabakh, according to international law, belongs to the Republic of Azerbaijan, and is an integral part of the Islamic territory," the final statement of the conference says.
The issue of security and peace in the region should be resolved through the efforts of the allied countries, without the intervention of foreign forces. It is expected that international organizations will exert pressure to "force the occupying side to recognize the sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan and end the occupation," the statement said.
