Ismet Sattarov headed the National Broadcasting Council (NBC)
Baku / 06.04.20 / Turan: A meeting of the National Broadcasting Council held today elected a new chairman of this structure.
Ismet Sattarov was elected the head of the NBC, the report said on the structure’s website.
Sattarov replaced Nushiravan Maharramli, who headed the NBC since 2003.
Maharramli was considered one of the close associates of the former presidential aide for socio-political affairs, who was removed from office in November last year.
Two days ago, another member of the "team" Hasanov Vugar Safarli was removed from the position of executive director of the Presidential Support Fund for Media Development under the country's president.
A 37-year-old Sattarov, was appointed a member of the NBC only two days ago.
In recent years, Sattarov led the ARB24 television channel.
In the past, Sattarov worked for the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the banking sector. –06D-
