Israeli Defence Minister satisfied with results of visit to Azerbaijan
Baku/14.07.23/Turan: Defence relations between Azerbaijan and Israel are contribution to the security not only of the peoples of the two countries, but to peace and stability in the region as well.
Israeli Defence Minister Yaoav Gallant wrote this on his Twitter, summing up the results of his visit to Azerbaijan.
He notes that during his visit to Azerbaijan there were agreements on "deepening strong ties and strong friendship."
"I have just concluded a fruitful visit to Azerbaijan. Here I met with President Ilham Aliyev, Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov, Head of the State Border Service Elchin Guliyev. We discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in the defence sector," Gallant stressed.
"Our partnership with Azerbaijan is long-term," Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan George Dick wrote on Twitter in turn. -16В-

Activist Nijat Ibrahim, who was detained in Baku pre-trial detention center-1, inflicted numerous wounds on himself on November 20 in protest against unjustified criminal prosecution, his wife Parvin Ibrahim told Turan. According to her, on November 21, her husband called her and informed her that the day before he had inflicted incised wounds on himself with a piece of mirror. In particular, he cut his throat and ears.
