J. Bayramov received the new co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group from the Russian Federation
Baku/30.08.21/Turan: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received on August 30 the new co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group from the Russian Federation Igor Khovaev.
As stated in the message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, during the meeting
Khovaev noted that his visit is for informational purposes.
Bayramov, for his part, informed the interlocutor about the current situation in the region, the measures taken by Azerbaijan in the post-conflict stage, the possibility of normalizing relations with Armenia on the basis of the principles of international law.
At the same time, the Azerbaijani minister stressed that the revanchist position demonstrated by the opposite side has no prospects.
In his opinion, it is important that the parties take advantage of the created opportunities for cooperation.
The parties exchanged views on the implementation of the provisions arising from the trilateral statement, and the implementation of confidence-building measures, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a statement. — 06B-
