Jamil Hasanli appeals against the election results in Court of Appeals
The election headquarters of presidential candidate of the National Council, Jamil Hasanli, will appeal the results of the presidential election announced by Court, according to Gulaga Aslanly, representative of Hasanli. They will demand from the Baku Appeal Court to cancel the results of the election and appointment of new elections.
He said the election staff of Hasanli possesses acts and other documents that prove electoral fraud in more than 2.500 polling stations.
"This is enough to annul the election results and the new elections," said Aslanly.
In accordance with the Election Code, to cancel the election results it is necessary to cancel the vote in two fifths polling stations (2.200 polling stations), covering more than a quarter of voters of the country.—06B--
