Baku/23.10.23/Turan: On October 23, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi, as part of his participation in the "3+3" first ministerial meeting in Tehran. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, views were exchanged on the main issues on the agenda between Azerbaijan and Iran, existing opportunities for cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, prospects of the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization and peace process, as well as the current situation in the region.
Meetings held between the two countries in recent months and contacts within the framework of the Bilateral Economic Commission, the dynamics of increasing cooperation in a number of directions were noted with satisfaction, the importance of further expansion of high-level meetings and inter-institutional contacts was emphasized.
At the meeting, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed the other side about the steps taken on the peace agenda that Azerbaijan has restored full sovereignty over its territory after 24 hours of anti-terrorist measures, and once again emphasized the determination of our country in establishing peace and security in the region, bringing sustainable peace to the region, as well as promoting regional cooperation. delivered.-0-
