Joint Azerbaijani-Iranian Commission to Deal with Restoration of Liberated Territories of Azerbaijan
Tehran / 24.12.20 / Turan: Head of the Iranian Presidential Administration Mahmoud Vaezi announced the creation of a joint economic commission between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan in mid-January.
"The Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev arrived in Tehran with a number of high-ranking officials, including the Minister of Energy and Deputy Minister of Economy, as well as with a number of deputies from various ministries, and very good meetings were held with them," the IRNA agency quotes Vaezi.
According to him, "new conditions have been created in the region after the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and the management of these conditions requires a dialogue on various issues."
“According to the agreements reached, in three weeks it was decided to create a joint economic commission in Tehran, which will be headed by the Minister of Economy and Finance, and various departments will cooperate in these areas,” he said.
It should be noted that after the statement of official Baku about inviting foreign investors to work on the restoration of the regions of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation as a result of the Second Karabakh War, the Iranian authorities showed great activity. Thus, numerous Iranian companies have announced their readiness to participate in many construction and infrastructure projects, primarily in the regions bordering with Iran. -02D-

The United States and the European Union, which tried to position themselves as mediators in the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, have come up with nothing and merely copied Russia's ideas, distorting their essence in order to "hijack" the peace process for themselves. However, their true goal was to take control of the region, to insert themselves into it, and to push out Russia, as well as Iran and Türkiye, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated at a briefing on November 13.
