Joint exercises of the air forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey
Baku/28.08.19/Turan: On September 2-16, joint tactical exercises of the air forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey will be held.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, 30 units of military equipment will take part in the TurAz Qartalı - 2019 exercises: MIG-29, F-16, Su-25, P-235 "Kasa" aircraft, as well as Mi-35 helicopters, Mi-17, "Sikorsky" UH-70, CH-47 "Chinook" and ATAK / AH-1W.
The purpose of the exercises is to develop joint combat operations and search and rescue operations of aviation equipment of the air forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey, as well as aviation of the Navy and Ground Forces of the two countries. -16D-

As a result, Resolution No. 2580 was adopted, stating that PACE highly appreciates the work of the Monitoring Committee, which oversees the situation in 14 countries. The document expresses concern about the backsliding of democracy and human rights violations in several countries, including Azerbaijan and Georgia.
