Baku/08.11.20/Turan: On Saturday had a telephone conversation of the presidents of France, Russia and Turkey are directly related to the Karabakh conflict.

According to RIA Novosti, at the initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron, a conversation was held with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The conversation included issues related to the settlement of the situation around Karabakh, Donbass, Libya, and the fight against terrorism.

Putin informed his counterpart in detail about the steps that Russia is taking to ensure an early ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh and the resumption of negotiations.

Then the Kremlin press service reported that Russian and Turkish presidents Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh by phone.

It is noted that the Russian leader informed his counterpart about a series of talks with the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia.

According to the Erdogan administration, the Turkish leader told Putin that Armenia should withdraw from the occupied Azerbaijani territories, "and Azerbaijan's counteroffensive is limited to its territory."

Erdogan also noted that the Armenian leadership needs to be persuaded to sit down at the negotiating table from a position of common sense and stressed that this is the key to ending the conflict and stabilizing the region.

"These contacts were aimed at finding options for an early cessation of hostilities and reaching a political and diplomatic settlement. They confirmed their mutual readiness to cooperate in order to achieve a peaceful solution to the conflict, " the Kremlin added, covering the conversation between the presidents.—0—
