Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan discuss seizure of Azerbaijani Embassy in London
Baku/05.08.22/Turan: The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the three Central Asian Turkic states - Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, strongly condemned the provocative attack on the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in London on August 4, 2022.
The Troika called for a comprehensive investigation of the incident and bringing all those involved to justice.
The statements expressed support for fraternal Azerbaijan in ensuring the safety and protection of its citizens abroad.
On August 4, the extremist Shiite group "Union of Mahdi's Servants" seized the Azerbaijani embassy in London, threatening to retaliate against official Baku for infringing on the rights of Azerbaijani Shiites. The police unblocked the building and detained 8 participants of the action.-0-
