Baku / 03.10.17 / Turan: Ukraine understands Azerbaijan better than all, since the Karabakh conflict is an aggression, said at a briefing on Tuesday after the meeting with Elmar Mamedyarov, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin. He noted that Ukraine will continue to support the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Earlier, at a meeting with the head of state Ilham Aliyev, Klimkin said that they were eagerly awaiting the visit of the Azerbaijani president.
Klimkin also noted a significant increase in mutual trade turnover over the past six months.
In turn, Ilham Aliyev noted the importance of further increasing trade turnover and cooperation of the two countries in the international format. -02D-

President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
