Baku/10.09.13/Turan : Yesterday the Liberal Party's leader Lala Shovket Hajiyeva held a meeting with the single candidate of the National Council, Jamil Hasanli .
As the chairman of the party Avaz Temirkhan told Turan, the meeting discussed
different questions. Following the meeting, Lala Shovket said that at the elections she will support the candidacy of Hasanli. The form of support will be specified during the election campaign, said Temirkhan.
He also said that during the meeting the issue of withdrawal of the Liberal Party from the National Council was not raised.
Jamil Hasanli in turn told Turan that the pre-election situation was discussed and there was a useful exchange of views. According to him , the Liberal Party will remain in the National Council . -05B04-

Today, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) announced its decision in the case of "Ahmedov and others v. Azerbaijan." The complaint concerned illegalities during administrative arrests of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (PFPA) activists Niyamaddin Ahmedov, Faig Amirov, Elnur Yusubov, and Elnur Hasanov, as well as restrictions on their freedom of assembly.
