Man Who Supported Taleh Bagirzadeh Arrested in Moscow
Moscow / August 30, 2010 / Turan: On August 28, an Azerbaijani citizen Eldar Orujov, born in 1964, was arrested in Moscow and charged with a series of crimes, TASS reported.
The detention took place at the request of Azerbaijan. Orujov is believed to be involved in terrorism, illegal arms trafficking, murder, robbery and forcible seizure of power, a source in law enforcement agencies said.
"The material against Orujov was transferred to the prosecutor's office to resolve the issue of his extradition to Azerbaijan," the source concluded.
It is noteworthy that Orujov's relatives told Azadlig radio that the real reason for the detention is a video clip recorded 7 months ago by Orujov in support of the leader of the Muslim Unity movement, Taleh Bagirzadeh, who was condemned in Azerbaijan. -02D-
