Meeting of representatives of Azerbaijan and Armenia at the border /UPDATED/
Baku/01.04.23/Turan: A meeting of representatives of the two countries took place on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
"A meeting with the participation of representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan took place at the Teh-Kornidzor section, work was carried out to specify the border, as a result of which the situation in this section has significantly improved, work is currently continuing, and the public will be further informed about the results," the National Security Service of Armenia reported.
The Azerbaijani side has not yet made official reports about the meeting.
It should be noted that on March 30, the Azerbaijani army occupied a number of heights in this direction, where it equipped positions and took control of a section of the conditional border with Armenia. Until now, the Azerbaijani military positions were at a certain distance, since the Armenian side continued to use the road from Teh to the new route of the Lachin corridor, commissioned in August 2022, in this direction.
Now Armenia has already built its own section of road to this highway from the village of Kornidzor.—06B-

In turn the "Hraparak" newspaper reported a different version.
According to local sources, negotiations at the border were held with the participation of representatives of Russian peacekeepers.
On the Armenian side, the negotiations were conducted by the Director of the National Security Service Armen Abazyan. He tried to persuade the Azerbaijanis to move back from the positions occupied the day before, to the monument of Friendship. However, the negotiations did not yield results and the Azerbaijanis remained in their positions.
In addition, there was a fight between Azerbaijani and Armenian servicemen.-0-
