Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and the Palestinian Autonomy
Baku/30.03.23/Turan: On March 30, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki in Ramallah.
According to the official message, Riyad al-Maliki noted at a joint briefing that Azerbaijan and Palestine are friendly countries.
According to him, the sides discussed the development of bilateral relations. He thanked Azerbaijan for organizing an educational program for Palestinian schoolchildren and for building a school in Palestine.
Riyad al-Maliki also said that Azerbaijan's representative office in Palestine will be opened in the near future.
In turn, Ceyhun Bayramov said that Azerbaijan wants a solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and supports efforts to achieve peace.
"We support the idea of creating two states in the region with East Jerusalem as its capital," Bayramov said. --03---
