Meeting of the President of Azerbaijan with the Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe
Baku / 02.05.19 / Turan: Today the President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan received the Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Gabriella Battani-Dragoni.
During the meeting, Azerbaijan"s contribution to the development of intercultural dialogue and the Council of Europe"s support for the Baku Process initiated by it were noted.
During the meeting, issues of development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Council of Europe, as well as a number of topics on the agenda of this international organization were discussed. - 06D--

Alisahib Kerimov, an activist of the Khazar district branch of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), was detained on January 10 at the Nizami metro station. By the decision of the Yasamal District Court, he was sentenced to 30 days of administrative arrest for "disobeying the police."
