"The committee supported the candidacy of our former Ambassador to Kazakhstan Bocharnikov for appointment as Russia's Ambassador to Azerbaijan," the source said.
70-year-old Bocharnikov career diplomat, worked in the embassies of the USSR in Ethiopia and Zimbabwe and was the Russian Ambassador in Zambia (1992-1996), Greece (1999-2003), and Kazakhstan (2003-2006) .- 06d--
