Mikhail Bocharnikov May Become New Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan
Baku / 02.04.18 / Turan: Mikhail Bocharnikov's candidacy for the post of Russia's Ambassador to Azerbaijan was approved on Monday by the State Duma's Main Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots, Tass reports.
"The committee supported the candidacy of our former Ambassador to Kazakhstan Bocharnikov for appointment as Russia's Ambassador to Azerbaijan," the source said.
70-year-old Bocharnikov career diplomat, worked in the embassies of the USSR in Ethiopia and Zimbabwe and was the Russian Ambassador in Zambia (1992-1996), Greece (1999-2003), and Kazakhstan (2003-2006) .- 06d--
