
Military of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia Discussing Security of Regional Projects
Baku / 21.11.18 / Turan: On the morning of November 21, a trilateral meeting of the Azerbaijani Defense Minister and the Chiefs of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Turkey and Georgia began in Baku.
Opening the meeting, the head of the Azerbaijani military department Zakir Hasanov said the main purpose of the meeting is to ensure peace and stability in the region and security of strategic economic projects implemented by the three countries, and deepen cooperation between the armies of the three states.
The head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Turkey, Yaşhar Güler, in turn, noted that the military ties of the three states reached a strategic level and will be strengthened further.
The head of the Georgian Armed Forces General Staff, Vladimir Chachibaya, noted that the three countries are strategic partners, and their military cooperation is very important for ensuring the security of economic projects. -02D-
