Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan denied reports about shelling of Armenian positions
Baku/06/19.23/Turan: The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has denied the report of the Armenian military department about the shelling of Armenian positions from Nakhchivan and Kelbajar.
"The information disseminated by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia about the alleged shelling of positions of the Armenian armed forces in the Zod and Aradeyen directions by units of the Azerbaijani army from different-caliber small arms on June 19 from 00:45 to 02:20 is contrary to reality. We categorically refute the information disseminated by the Armenian side," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a press release.
Earlier, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported that "on June 19, from 00:45 to 02:20, units of the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire from small arms of various calibers at Armenian positions located in the eastern (Sotk) and southwestern (Erasx) directions of the border."—06B-
