Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reports on preparation of new provocation by Armenia
Baku / 31.10.20 / Turan: “Intelligence data has been received on the delivery of a large amount of phosphorus cargo to units deployed in the defense sector of the 3rd motorized rifle regiment of the 37th rifle division of the 1st combined arms of the Armenian armed forces in the occupied Khojavend direction,” the message of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
It is assumed that the purpose of the enemy when delivering phosphorus-containing ammunition to the indicated areas is primarily their use against the units of the Azerbaijan Army. On the other hand, it aims to spread misinformation that the ammunition was allegedly scattered over the area by units of the Azerbaijan Army.
“By disseminating false and false information on the alleged use of weapons containing white phosphorus by the Azerbaijani Army on October 30, the Armenian side lays the foundation for its further provocations.
Once again we declare that there are no prohibited ammunition in the armament of the Azerbaijan Army,” the press release of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry emphasizes.
