Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan about the results of the negotiations of Bayramov and Mirzoyan
Baku/19.05.23/Turan: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan made a statement about the results of today's negotiations in Moscow between the heads of the foreign political departments of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
It is noted that at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, negotiations were held in Moscow on May 19 with the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Armenia - Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan.
They presented their positions on the implementation of the three-party statements of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia.
"The parties continued to work on the draft agreement "On the establishment of peace and normalization of interstate relations". There was a constructive exchange of opinions on topics on which there are still disagreements between the parties", - further noted in the press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
The ministers expressed their gratitude to the Russian side for organizing negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. The parties agreed to continue negotiations.
The ministers also held separate meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergei Lavrov.—06В-
