Ministry of Health Issues Order in Connection with Corona Virus Threat
Baku / 01.28.19 / Turan: Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev signed an order “On strengthening preventive measures against the new corona virus (2019-nCoV).
The document provides for the strengthening of sanitary, hygienic and disinfection measures. These include the provision and allocation of special rooms for the hospitalization of patients with suspicion, especially children and the elderly, for acute respiratory viral infection.
Medical institutions are required to use personal protective equipment (masks) by medical personnel, to stockpile medicines, disinfectants, and other personal protective equipment.
It has been ordered to strengthen surveillance of individuals arriving from countries where there are outbreaks of corona virus. —06D--

On January 31, the 141st anniversary of the birth of Mammad Amin Rasulzadeh, one of the founders of the Azerbaijan People's Republic, is being commemorated. Today, activists from the "Musavat" party, the Azerbaijan Popular Front, and the National Council of Democratic Forces visited the monument to Rasulzadeh in his homeland – the village of Novkhani near Baku.
