Exploration work to identify sources of drinking water in the town of Agdam will cost AZN 0.5 million
Baku/19.11.21/Turan: On 10 November, the Azersu OJSC announced about conclusion of an agreement on complex hydrogeological exploration work on identification of sources of drinking water and assessment of groundwater reserves for the town of Agdam.
The contract was awarded to "Geo-Eco Innovation Center" LLC. The work will cost 491,500 manats ($289,000) for the water company to be completed within 12 months, according to the Single portal of public e-procurement. At the same time, the construction work on the restoration in the town of Agdam, destroyed during the Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan, is carried out at accelerated paces. According to the general plan, the new city will be home for 100,000 people. Before the occupation of the town in 1993, its population was 36,000.
