Mission of Russian peacekeepers to end in 2025 - Ilham Aliyev
Baku/10.01.23/Turan: In 2023, Armenia will have the last chance to conclude a peace treaty with Azerbaijan, stated today President Ilham Aliyev in an interview with Azerbaijani TV channels. “We can do without a peace treaty for a long time, we don't need it. But let's see what happens next? Therefore, I believe that they will hear our messages and draw the right conclusions,” Aliyev said. In his opinion, 2023 will be the last chance to reach a peace agreement.
“I don’t want to look like the pressure side. Under no circumstances have I shown disrespect, even to those who do not deserve it. I just want to bring the following to your attention. In my opinion, this year will be the last chance (for the signing of a peace treaty). Because 2024 follows, and then in 2025 the mission of Russian peacekeepers will end. They should look a little further than their nose,” Aliyev said, addressing his message to Armenia. -06D-
