Morningstar: U.S. ready to assist in the security of the Caspian Sea
"America is determined to closely cooperate with Azerbaijan on the Caspian security. We are having talks in various fields to ensure the security of the infrastructure of the sea, and of cooperation in this field," Turan was told by the U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Richard Morningstar, asking a question on the prospects of Security Cooperation in the Caspian.
Concerning the current situation in the negotiations on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, he said: "It is very important that each party make efforts to find ways out of the current situation. For my part, I will do my best, working with the government of Azerbaijan and the U.S. co-chair in order to achieve progress in the peace process. The only way to solve the problem is a peaceful way," said Morningstar. -03B04-
