Moscow calls on Baku and Tehran to resolve controversial issues through diplomatic means
Moscow/21.10.21/Turan: Moscow expects that Iran and Azerbaijan will resolve the situation on their borders by political and diplomatic methods, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova on Thursday.
"We consistently advocate reducing tensions on the border between Azerbaijan and Iran. We are convinced that all issues in relations between these two states close to each other should be resolved exclusively by political and diplomatic methods," - Zakharova said at a briefing in Moscow.
According to her, Russia is making efforts to unblock all communications in the region. At the same time, the interests of all countries in the region, including Iran, must be taken into account. -02D-
