"Musavat" party demand the resignation of President Ilham Aliyev
"Musavat" party demanded the resignation of the government of Azerbaijan led by President Ilham Aliyev due to identification of offshore companies belonging to him and his family. The statement of the party reads that it is not the case when the name of the Aliyev is involved in international scandals.
In particular, the statement noted publications three years ago in the newspaper "Washington Post" about the purchasing by the Aliyev family of villas amounting to $75 million.
According to the authors of the statement, the corruption is the root of the deep crisis affecting all spheres of life in the country.
"Those who run the country hamper the reforms for 20 years; to save the country it is necessary that this regime leaves the political scene," said the party.
The statement also condemned the suppression of protests by various social demands, the prosecution of youth activists of NIDA and believers.
The statement emphasizes that the only way to solve these problems and to save the country is the resignation of the leadership of the country.-05D06-
