Washington D.C./27.07.23/Turan:    NATO allies and Ukraine on Wednesday strongly condemned Russia over its 'deliberate attempts' to stop Ukraine's agricultural exports, amid missile attacks on Odesa, Mykolayiv, and other port cities, following Moscow's decision to withdraw from the Black Sea grain deal.

In a statement issued after a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council, the allies noted: "We stand in solidarity with our Black Sea Allies, we will continue to protect one another, and we will continue to support Ukraine for as long as it takes."

In Washington, officials said on Wednesday that they continue to see Moscow's efforts as "very black and white" that are ultimately weaponizing food.

"...We have been very clear that the Black Sea Grain Initiative has been an important tool for the world in an effort to get grain to the countries and places that it needs to," State Department's principal deputy spokesperson Vedant Patel told a daily briefing in response to TURAN's questions.
