Netizen arrested for posting about army, several more warned
Baku/27.07.22/Turan: On July 27, the head of the jamaz.info website Ibishbeyli Fikret, the head of the miq.az website Alyshov Agil, as well as social media users from the city of Shirvan - Ismail Elchin, a resident of the Lankaran region Jabbarly Ali and a resident of the Khachmaz region Fataliyeva Nurana were invited to the Prosecutor General's Office.
They were warned about the inadmissibility of spreading messages that cast a shadow on the country's Armed Forces.
In addition, an administrative case was initiated against Shakhmuradov Tofig in connection with posting information prohibited by law on his Facebook page, the report said.
On the same day, the court of the Nizami district of Baku city arrested him for 30 days, the Prosecutor General's Office said in a statement.
