New ambassadors of Azerbaijan appointed in Ukraine, Japan and Czech Republic
Baku/12.03.20/Turan: On Thursday, Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the recall of Azer Khudiyev from the post of ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine and permanent representative of the country to GUAM.
By another decree, Elmira Akhundova, who was a deputy of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th convocation, was appointed Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ukraine.
By another decree of the president, Adysh Mammadov was appointed ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Czech Republic.
In 2013-2018, he was the ambassador of Azerbaijan to Sweden and at the same time to Norway and Finland.
The President also signed a decree appointing Gürsel Ismailzadeh as head of the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in Japan. — 06D-

A preparatory hearing in the case of former leaders of the Karabakh separatists began the day before at the Baku Court Complex. The case is being heard by a panel of judges chaired by Zeynal Agayev, the judge of the Baku Military Court.The accused were provided with lawyers and Armenian language interpreters, AZERTAC reported.
