NGOs Required to Submit Financial Reports to the Ministry of Justice
Amendments have been made to the "Rules on the Form, Content, and Submission of Annual Financial Reports of Non-Governmental Organizations."
The decree was signed on July 19 by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.
According to the new regulations, local public associations, as well as NGOs of foreign states and their branches, will now be required to submit annual financial reports not only to the Ministry of Finance but also to the Ministry of Justice.

On January 22, lawyer Zibeyda Sadigova visited journalist Farid Ismayilov at the Baku Detention Center No. 1, who was arrested on January 17 in connection with the Toplum TV case. Ismayilov had been brought in for questioning back in March 2024 and placed under police supervision.
