Nominal members of the Supervisory Board of Public Broadcasting are appointed
Today's session of parliament approved the new members of the Supervisory Board of Public Broadcasting. They are: Yusif Babanly, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Boxing Federation, Fuad Nurullayev, Advisor to the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims, and Zemfira Gafarova, a representative of the Union of Composers of Azerbaijan.
Two years earlier (18 March 2011) members of the Broadcasting Council of the ITV were: Agil Dadashov (from the Confederation of Trade Unions), Mukhtar Imanov (National Academy of Sciences), and Jahangir Mammadli of the Press Council.
All members are subject to rotations, except Mammadov (chairman). Term of office of members of the Council of Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company is six years.–17D—
