Once again Moscow called on Baku and Yerevan to show restraint
Moscow/30.07.21/Tigap: Moscow is seriously concerned about recent incidents on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan. This is stated in a comment distributed on Friday by Alexander Bikantov, deputy director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"We are seriously concerned about the latest armed incidents on some sections of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border which led to human casualties. We express our condolences to the families of the victims and wish recovery to the injured and wounded," the message reads.
Also, Moscow calls on Azerbaijan and Armenia to refrain from any actions fraught with further aggravation of the situation on the border, the report says.
According to him, the situation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border goes on aggravating. "We call on the parties to refrain from any actions fraught with further aggravation of the situation, and resolve all emerging issues through political and diplomatic means," the Foreign Ministry stressed. - 02D-

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) today issued five rulings on applications from Azerbaijan. The case of "Afgan Mammadov v. Azerbaijan" concerned the complainant's exclusion from the Bar Association. Mammadov was expelled based on a complaint filed by a colleague, which he considered unjust. The ECHR ruled that Mammadov's rights had been violated and ordered Azerbaijan to pay him €5,000 in compensation for moral damage and €1,000 to cover legal costs.

During the ongoing COP29 climate conference in Baku on November 14, a group of activists staged a protest condemning Russia's aggression against Ukraine. The activists also denounced countries that supply oil and weapons to nations waging aggressive wars. The protest featured placards with slogans such as: "From fossil fuels to peace!", "End war crimes!", "Punish the aggressor!", and "Phase out fossil fuel use to achieve peace!" among others.
