Opening the traditional Forum on Intercultural Dialogue

Baku / 03.05.17 / Turan: The 4th Forum on Intercultural Dialogue with participation of guests from dozens of countries will be held in Baku on May 4-6. Among the guests of the forum, President of  Mali Ibrahim Bubakar Keita, of Bulgaria's Vice-President Ilyana Yotova, UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova, ISESCO Head Abdulazizi bin Osman al-Tuvejri, OIC Secretary-General Yusif bin Ahmad Al-Usaimin, BSEC Secretary General Michael Christiides and others. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan.

The forum will include sessions and events on human security, sustainable development, migration, intercultural and interreligious dialogue, combating extremism, attitudes towards refugees and migrants, the role of youth and education in intercultural dialogue, and food security. For the first time such a forum was held in Baku in 2008 at the initiative of the Azerbaijani leadership. -02D-
