Opinion Way: 85% of population approves Aliyev�s Policy
Baku / 09.04.29 / Turan: More than 85% of the population of Azerbaijan positively assess the activities of President I.Aliyev - these are the results of a survey conducted by the French company Opinion Way in March.
The survey was conducted in all regions of the country, with the exception of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR), the head of the company Bruno Janbar said at a press conference today.
About 75.6% of respondents gave a positive answer to the question about Aliyev fulfilling his campaign promises. Only 5.8% believe that the promises were not fulfilled, and 4.2% found it difficult to answer.
78.8% of respondents positively evaluated Aliyev"s personnel policy. At the same time, 43.3% of respondents were completely satisfied with the personnel policy, and 35.5% were mostly satisfied.
75.6% of respondents approve of anti-corruption measures by the head of state.
If the presidential election in Azerbaijan were held today, Aliyev would have received 83-85% of the vote, Opinion Way said.
It is unknown who conducted a survey, who financed it, and why it was the French company that was entrusted to carry it out. -06D--

Activist Nijat Ibrahim, who was detained in Baku pre-trial detention center-1, inflicted numerous wounds on himself on November 20 in protest against unjustified criminal prosecution, his wife Parvin Ibrahim told Turan. According to her, on November 21, her husband called her and informed her that the day before he had inflicted incised wounds on himself with a piece of mirror. In particular, he cut his throat and ears.
