“Parliament” of Karabakh condemned Pashinyan’s statements and urged Armenians to rise to fight
Baku/22.05.23/Turan: On Monday at 11 p.m., an emergency meeting of the "parliament" of Karabakh opened in Khankyandi. It was convened after the statements of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that he would recognize Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan.
All speakers condemned these statements of Pashinyan and adopted a statement saying that Pashinyan's statement caused great indignation and anger in Karabakh.
“Pashinyan grossly violates the Declaration of Independence of Armenia and its Constitution, which prohibits the adoption of any documents where Karabakh is recognized as part of Azerbaijan.
“For us, any statement by Nikol Pashinyan, ignoring the sovereignty of Artsakh, the rights of our people to self-determination, is unacceptable and useless. Artsakh will never give up its chosen path,” the statement says.
The Karabakh Parliament calls on all Armenians to prevent the Armenian authorities from giving part of the Armenian territory to Azerbaijan. -0-
