Pashinyan told Macron that he was ready for "urgent discussions" with Aliyev
Baku/09.09.23/Turan: In a telepohone conversation French President Emmanuel Macaron and Nikol Pashinyan discussed the situation in the region and the growing tension on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
According to the Armenian government, Pashinyan reaffirmed his commitment to the agreements of October 6, 2022 in Prague and May 14, 2023 in Brussels and "to an approach to resolving all issues exclusively by diplomatic methods and in a constructive atmosphere."
Macron stressed that it is necessary to reduce tensions along the borders.
Pashinyan expressed readiness "to hold urgent discussions with the President of Azerbaijan aimed at reducing tensions."
