Pashinyan Calls Putin for Third Time in Two Days

Baku / 02.10.20 / Turan: Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed on October 2 the situation in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Kremlin press service reported.

“On the initiative of the Armenian side, a telephone conversation took place between President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. The discussion of the situation in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was continued, ”the message says.

Vladimir Putin reiterated the need to immediately end the hostilities and resume political and diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict, in line with the Statement of the Presidents of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs (Russia, France, USA) on October 1, 2020.

It was agreed to continue contacts in various formats.     -0-
